Create any number of ticket types — each with its own validity, visibility, quota and assignment to main or accompanying guests.
Create tenant-wide vouchers — percentage or fixed amount, optionally limited to specific events or tickets.
Offer early-bird tickets with runtime and quota — automatically valid within the chosen window, then the regular price applies.
Unlock specific tickets only via a release code — assign it directly to guests or distribute it through shared links.

On request, ticketYoo automatically cancels unpaid orders after the deadline and releases the quota again.
Offer optional extras to choose from — e.g. bus transfer, VIP access or a drinks flat rate. Each guest adds them optionally, in any quantity up to your limit.
Define which tickets are selectable for main guests and which for companions — so, for example, the main guest pays for the event and the companion pays the surcharge for the hotel room.
Store your own ticket codes per ticket type — e.g. for use with your own barrier or access-control system. The code goes straight onto the ticket.
Show certain tickets only if a guest picked the matching option in the form — optionally with several conditions combined via AND/OR. That way you ask about their interests first and then offer only the sessions that fit. More on conditions in the form.
Group your session tickets and define how many a guest may pick from each group — for example two workshops and one talk, each with a minimum and maximum.
Your team sells tickets at the counter — for guests who don’t book online themselves: pick a ticket or a seat in the seating plan (live occupancy against online buyers), take payment at your till, hand over the ticket. Anonymous sales and sales after online booking has closed are possible; closed areas become a “box office only” allocation. Whether ticketYoo issues an invoice or your till receipt is the proof is set per event.

Sales & allocation
Whether fully booked, overrun or only viable from a minimum number — there is a switch for every case.
Once your event is fully booked, further registrations go onto the waiting list. When a spot opens up, the next guest moves up — automatically or after your approval, in order of arrival or by priority.
First collect registrations and send the final confirmations only once enough have come together. The payment process also starts only on your signal — ideal for courses, trips and workshops with a minimum number of participants.
When demand is high, you put a queue in front of your event page: your guests wait in an orderly line and move up automatically, instead of everyone hitting the register button at once.
Set a minimum and a maximum amount — what guests pay in between is up to them. A good fit for cultural events, clubs and solidarity pricing.
You decide when payment and invoicing are triggered: automatically at check-in, only after the event, or manually by you.
New · International invoicing
International guests, international customers: ticketYoo determines the correct VAT rule-based — instead of hard-wired rates.
Instead of hard-coded rates, a rule matrix per team — with presets (domestic, EU events, international). The first matching rule wins; you stay in control.
Classification by buyer country and type; the VAT ID is checked live against VIES. Reverse charge and exemptions appear automatically — including a live tax preview right in the registration form.
The place of supply (admission at the event location) is applied correctly, an OSS report per country is exportable, and the e-invoice (ZUGFeRD/XRechnung) carries the correct EN 16931 tax categories.
Configurable under Settings → Tax. The tax assessment in each case is up to the organizer — ticketYoo provides the tools, not tax advice.
Payment providers
Guests pay right at registration — you pick the right provider per event. With prepayment, tickets are only delivered once the payment has arrived.
The EU provider for the euro area: SEPA direct debit, credit & debit card, Sofort, iDEAL, Bancontact and more — payment processing in Europe.
The established Swiss payment provider: cards and local payment methods for guests in Switzerland — including settlement in CHF.
Credit & debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay — worldwide payment processing when your guests come from anywhere.
Pay with a PayPal account or card — familiar for your guests, quick to set up and with no commission from ticketYoo.
Also without online payment: invoice or prepayment by bank transfer — with automatic ticket delivery once payment arrives. Providers are enabled per event (your own provider account).
Consumer protection
For paid tickets you can enable an “exercise withdrawal” button on the event page — so guests can declare their statutory right of withdrawal without friction.
Guests declare the withdrawal right in the event-page footer — with a free-text field for partial withdrawal, too. Not tied to the cancellation deadline (it’s a statutory right).
The declaration is emailed to you as the organizer (not to ticketYoo). The guest receives an acknowledgement including a sample withdrawal form as a PDF — recipient configurable per event.
No automatic cancellation or refund — you handle the reimbursement yourself via the existing cancellation pipeline. Button, acknowledgement and PDF come in all six languages.
